Travel with a purpose
with Chair The Hope
Traveling with Chair The Hope combines a humanitarian trip and a vacation into one transformative experience. Every location is hand-picked as we work with local friends to take you to destinations far different than the usual “tourist attractions”. Diving deeply into the cultures and communities helps us get off the beaten path and form shared connections with beautiful individuals all over the world.
Activities like zip lining through jungles, snorkeling in the ocean, or hiking Machu Picchu are included to spark excitement for thrill seekers. Assembling wheelchairs and delivering them to humble homes or communities provide the opportunity to share in compassion and give hope. These experiences are interwoven with delicious indigenous foods, exploring local traditions, and fun-filled adventures.
Join our team on a journey that will leave your heart overflowing with love and ignite your passion for humanity.

Our story
The Ogden Family
Welcome! We are the Ogdens or Oggies as our friends call us. We are a family of 8 and growing! It’s truly wonderful to connect with you! Nathan’s snow-skiing accident 24 years ago left him quadriplegic and in a wheelchair for life, giving us firsthand insight into the challenges of limited mobility. However, we’ve learned the importance of cherishing life’s amazing moments and finding joy in everyday experiences.
We travel around the world giving out wheelchairs with our family-run nonprofit Chair The Hope. This is our passion project and a way to give back and bring hope to families like ours.
You can follow our journeys to globally show that a different ability can be a superpower and that with our lives’ experiences, we can find compassion and a way to bring goodness to the world. We call it “Rollin’ with the Oggies”.
