Phil received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from California State University, Chico in 1988. He continued his education with a secondary clear teaching credential in 1989. After that, he became a high school teacher for 4 years at El Dorado High School in Placerville, California. He soon found himself involved with giving back and supporting his community and evolved in his career as an advocate and business member. He is currently a Business and Economic Development Consultant at Greater Folsom Partnership. For the past 29 years, has also been in the Real Estate and Real Estate Finance industry in Folsom, CA.
