the importance of Charity
After our family went on our first wheelchair distribution trip to Mexico in 2018, our life purpose shifted. We wanted to create more experiences for families to serve and travel with their loved ones. To teach the youth the importance of charity from young ages and to “chair” more hope as a family while “lifting the one” and traveling the world.

Past trips
South Africa
Chair The Hope took 280 wheelchairs to South Africa in June 2024. We visited extremely poverty-stricken areas giving away wheelchairs, handing out food and gifts to hundreds of people, and entering some of their humble homes filled with love getting to know their stories. Their determination and culture are powerful.
Guanajuato Mexico
Three companies brought their leadership teams to serve the people in Central Mexico and deliver hundreds of wheelchairs. We partnered with Vamos Mexico that was created by Vicente Fox, a past president of Mexico, and his wife Marta. Together we gave away needed food and supplies along with the wheelchairs to the people there.
Peru
The volunteers were able to give out hundreds of wheelchairs in three different cities in Peru. We spent time in an orphanage playing with the children and brought needed food to them. And of course, we also went to the top of Machu Picchu.
